Customs Information and Country Restrictions

Import duty and taxes are due when importing goods into Bahrain whether by a private individual or a commercial entity.

Import duty and taxes are calculated on the complete shipping value, which includes the cost of the imported goods, the cost of freight, and the cost of insurance.

There is no sales tax applicable on imports in Bahrain and there is no minimum threshold for imports.

In short: duty is always applicable on dutiable goods regardless of their value.
