Your parcel, whether small or large, will then be sorted into country destination at a sorting depot before it is sent via air to Qatar.

Qatar Service Summary
• The Processing Centre (TPC) will receive your parcel and then have full responsibility for it.
• Your parcels are then labeled, weighed and scanned.
• The parcels will then be sorted into sacks and then transported from TPC to Heathrow Airport.
• When the parcels arrive at the Heathrow Facility they be receipted at sack level.
• Parcels are then collected by our in country partner Aramex.
• From London Heathrow parcels will then be flown to Dubai (DXB).
• From Dubai parcel will then be forwarded onto Qatar.
• All parcels that arrive in Qatar are subject to paying duty tax.
• Aramex will then send the parcels out for final mile delivery.

Customs Information and Carrier Restrictions
As with most Middle Eastern countries there is no minimum threshold for imports in Qatar. Thus, when sending a parcel to Qatar, every item could be subject to a duty charge.
This valuation upon which duty is calculated method is CIF and is calculated on the complete shipping value, which includes the cost of the imported goods, the cost of freight, and the cost of insurance.

Additional notes
• All parcels that arrive in Oman are subject to paying duty except on electronic goods.
• Aramex will collect duties from consignee when parcels arrive in country.
• All parcels must be signed for when delivered to customer.
• Customers must pay duty when the parcel is delivered.
• Customers will receive three generic emails when the parcel has been dispatched, arrived in country and has been sent out for final delivery.
• Two delivery attempts are included within the cost.
• Parcels can be left in a safe place at the customer’s instruction.
• If the first delivery attempt fails customers can call Aramex and arrange the second delivery or alternately pick the parcel up from their local Aramex hub.
• All parcels will be delivered within 2-4 working days.
